The Richmond show from the March tour is considered the best by many people. It is released on a soundboard import called "Guaranteed to blow your mind".

Opening Night Las Vegas August of 1974...nuff said!

Elvis did really good shows from January 1974 until the beginning of the August 1974 engagement. Then things got a little rough. Why? I think we all know the answer to that.

I would agree that the Richmond show is one of (if not the) best of the year. The Houston Astrodome performance is also worth mentioning as we get to hear Elvis without the orchestra here.

The opening night from 1974 is certainly worth having for the varied set list, and is definitely the best show from this Vegas season in my opinion, but I don’t think Elvis was quite as good performance wise, as he had been during the Richmond show.

The show from August onward make for very interesting listening as well.
On top of that the sound on some of those shows is very good, to be compared with the Dragonheart CD.
Good CD's sound wise: Desert Storm, Night Fever In Vegas and the shows released on A Profile boxset.
