Lincoln Show Recorded?

Fri Jul 11, 2003 7:17 pm

I've just been to Fransecs site, elvis in concert. On there, there's a review of the new Elvis In Concert book, detailing all information relating to Elvis in Concert. Apparenty, this book claims that the Lincoln show on the 20th was recorded professionally!

Hand up all those who would buy the FTD of this show? - the reviews I've read of the show say Elvis sang his heart out and gave a great show, much better than either Omaha or Rapid City, due to being more relaxed as he new the cameras weren't there.

I'd love for this to be true. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Well as I am buying all the soundboards that FTD release, I would much prefer to buy professionally recorded shows. Any professionally recorded shows. :D

The show was not recorded by RCA, and no soundboard tape has surfaced to date. There is a decent quality audience recording of this show, and it is a good show for the time with Elvis in good spirits However, as far as recordings go, the best we can possibly hope for is a soundboard tape.
