Elvis movies on DVD

Thu Jul 10, 2003 3:03 pm

Hi!

The DVD released Elvis movies

Blue Hawaii
GI Blues
Fun in Acapulco
Roustabout
Paradise Hawaiian Style
Easy Come, Easy Go
Girls Girls Girls

...Are they COMPLETE?

Is it the same old story, with deleted songnumbers due to copyright problems?

Just wondering if they are worth purchasing on DVD or not...

The PARAMOUNT movies are definitely worth a buy, they're great. Technically, that is. I'm not a fan of "Paradise" and haven't seen "Easy Come, Easy Go" yet ... But the other's are cool.

I have bought the King Creole DVD. I await the others...

Do you know if they are complete, or if something is missing?

Kristian,

The DVDs are complete, and they are crystal clear in widescreen, 5.1 Dolby Digital surround.

They are well worth money, my advice...... buy 'em before they delete them.

The only caveat is that the most recent releases ("Girls! Girls! Girls!", "Fun in Acapulco", "Paradise Hawaiian Style" and "Easy Come Easy Go") don't feature the trailers. This is a shame because the trailer for "Girls" features Elvis singing a bit of "I Don't Want To" a song deleted from the film.
