New titles (at least to me)

Tue Jun 06, 2006 2:07 pm

I've just bought some old Elvis Monthly editions from the early 1970s. They are interesting to read in hindsight - the debate about the cut-price Camden albums, hope that Elvis would tour Europe, rave reviews of concerts etc.
One item mentions songs rumoured to have been recorded at the June, 1970 sessions.
Sylvia is mentioned, along with `Three Good Reasons' and `I Need you On The Tip of My Fingers'.
the first two titles were written by the same team (Les Reed and Geoff Stephens) who did This Is Our Dance, which, combined with Sylvia, wouldn't give me much confidence that the mystery title was any good.
the article adds that the later song "was performed by Elvis during the summer festival last year".
Has anyone heard about these titles?

No. But if the article mentions summer festival......and this season is August / September 1970 I wouldn´t doubt since we have many concerts that never appeared!!

All things are possible!
