this week is the 34th anniversary for these sessions and rehearsals for eot.
i really enjoy these elvis was in a good mood for these recordings.
he seemed to be enjoying himself.

He wasn't in Nashville's Studio B during those sessions as the title of your thread suggests. He was at the RCA Studios in Hollywood, California. The last time he recorded in Studio B was May, 1971.

Sirius Elvis radio were paying tribute to those sessions today and had John Wilkinson as a special guest, talkin' exclusively about his memories and thoughts about those 1972 Hollywood sessions!

It was great stuff and Doc Walker played tons of 6363 Sunset trax :!:

Actually Elvis' final session at RCA's Studio B in Nashville was June 10, 1971.

I still think we are going to have another FTD covering these rehearsals...there are tons of songs yet to be released.
