Thanks for the link but to be honest I don't like this version at all. In this version Elvis's voice seems to be much more in the background then in the original. In the original his voice is featured much more. I'm not sure if I'm making sense but that's the way I feel about it.

Apparently the version of 'Rubberneckin' that is circulating on other sites is NOT the Paul Oakenfold remix but one compiled by a private person.

For information.

I hold serious doubt that with the scheduled release of the new remix set for October 2003,
BMG would allow a copy to hit the market anytime before.

In this day and age, I would be shocked if a copy did NOT appear.

That ISN't the Paul Oakenfold remix of Rubberneckin

The remix of Rubberneckin heard through that link is the:

Elvis in-Cognito
Rubberneckin' 2003 (groove remix)

Not when it comes to Elvis material.

I guess Brian is referring to the In The Groove Mix.

Besides that one I also have received another mix of 4 minutes and 35 seconds from a friend. Don't know where he got it from. And when you also count the Rubberneckin' mix from 2002, you'll end up with 3 different versions circulating amongst fans....

EIN thinks it is the version. :?

Initial Paul Oakenfold Rubberneckin' Re-mix Audio
We have just received the initial Paul Oakenfold re-mix of Rubberneckin' from our good friend Pete Smith. It is not the final version. Click Here to play in Real Audio. In the process of deciding what the next Elvis Presley re-mix should be, BMG commissioned six versions before deciding on the Paul Oakenfold version. One of the versions considered was by the group Black Eyed Peas.

Gary, please keep the two versions seperated. You say that the Initial Paul Oakenfold is the In The Groove Mix. I.e.; they are the same.

But here is the link to the In The Groove-Mix

And the link to the Initial Paul Oakenfold is on top of this topic.

It's up to the visitors to listen to the versions and compare them.
Are both versions the same?

Are you saying Elvis material cannot be bootlegged?
