Have you got a couple of lines you could quote?

This often helps with identifying stuff

Best wishes

I don't think Elvis recorded this song. The Travelling Wilburys did a version of it. :D

ELVIS - King Of The Whole Wide World

The version you heard on radio is sung by British Pop Idol of the early 60s BILLY FURY. He does sounds very much like Elvis.

Billy Fury, like so many British "Elvi", shone brightly for a while, then faded. Only Cliff Richard seems to carry on, which I find inexplicable, (there's something of the night about that one).

Tony what`s his name also did a version of this with the Beatles while they were in Hamburg. This version is also very Elvisish, if I can use such a word. 8)

Tony Sheridan & The Beatles did Nobody's Child - in great Elvis style also.

Though Elvis didn't record the track can find a soundfile of the Billy Fury rendition (and in stereo) along with other Fury rare tracks at the following url..... ... eaming.htm
