This is hardly earth shaking news :!:

The dealer probably recalled - unlike some so-called fans - probably based his reasoning on the FACT that every other box set has had a vinyl version :!:

It would be NEWS if there wasn't a vinyl version.

LOL @ tupelo boy.

Let us all remember that they did not issue a vinyl set for Today Tomorrow & Forever, it was supposed to come on vinyl, but never saw the light of day.

Touche, Barry

I do note that you can still order it on Amazon UK for 70.99 pounds :!:

I wonder what they do if one placed an order :!:

VINYL AND CASSETTES

It amazes me that in this compact user-friendly world, people still want vinyl. It looks good and sounds good for the first few plays, but CD is so much more conveinient. Next, we'll all be wanting cassettes again!! Now, that would be sad!!

Good one Tony, LOL. When I bought the Elvis legend Cd set (his first release on CD) I found it very hard to go back to Vinyl. All the little pops etc. I sold all my vinyl collection not long after (Boots and all), and slowly bought Elvis Cds whenever released.(and other artists)
Unfortunatley some Cds have deteriorated over time but not many.

HI TONY

TO LET YOU KNOW CLOSE UP WILL BE ALSO BE OUT ON CASSETTES
VERSION, BECAUSE THERE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE STILL
AND NEVER OWN A CD PLAYER AND SO THERE WILL BE BUYING
THE TAPES OR THE VINYL.

BUT I STILL LOVE MY LPS AND TAPES BUT I WILL BUY CDS
IF I HAVE NO CHOICE, SO SO FAR I PUT MOST OF MY LP AND TAPE
COLLECTION INTO CDRS, SO I CAN KEEP MY LP AND TAPES
IN GOOD SHAPE.
