Check out the boot Edge Of Reality if you´d like to hear that bass line without the overdubs, sounds even better than on the finished master with the overdubs IMO. Of course this song also turned out to be one of the highlights from these sessions. Would be nice to get some outtakes if there are any available.

Just remembered Polk Salad Annie from Goodbye Memphis CD. The version of 1977 I guess from Toledo concert.


The bass in the end of the song is strong and wild!!

Elvis and not good. But he did good intro on Baby I dont Care as Steve_M pointed out earlier. Most of you just think of rockers for the bass playing. Theres quite a few slower songs with delicate bass playing which are just as challenging to the musician like Gentle On My Mind for example. Theres more...
