Elvis's, "Unbearable Fame".

Sat Nov 05, 2005 10:13 am

Last night on BBC Radio 4 Kate Bush spoke about her new album and her Elvis song "King of the Mountain" and how the song had been written almost ten years ago! She also spoke about Elvis's unbearable fame.

She laughed about some snob on the same radio show a week previous talKing about her writing a song about, "ELVIS PRESLEY"!

Place that link above on Real Player and listen to the very intelligent artist discuss her life and music . It can also be heard on BBC Radio 4 "Front Row" webpage.

On "Ask Elvis" BBC 2 Steve Wright show yesterday, "Elvis" sang Kate's "Wuthering Heights" number 1 hit. LOL. Steve also played, "Wooden Heart".

Kate Bush has had an extraordinary amount of publicity recently on TV, Radio, newspapers and magazines. The Elvis link in her song now at number 4 in the British music chart is often commented on.

I had the misfortune to hear this - I don't know if it's a regular part of the show, I hope not as it was totally taking the piss out of Elvis - not even funny, just cheap shots!!

psk, relax.

Steve Wright plays Elvis's songs regularly, we need DJs who do.

The "Ask Elvis" section is just a bit of fun.

I thought it funny and I am a very sensitive Elvis fan:-)
