That background music played by the band was very good. No one is credited for it, and I would like to know how it came about, and who is responsible for it. It was especially good in 1971 with a little more jamming with keyboards , guitar...

Someone will answer this correctly. I can't remember the song title but the background music (Aloha, MSG, and 500 other shows) is a song by a blues guy I believe?? I know it is definitely a tune and not just a jam..Sorry I can't help more.

In 1976 and 1977, TCB band plays "Green Onions".

But I don´t know which song is played in the Aloha concert for example...

It seems to me that it is the same music throughout the 70s shows. No credit or control by ASCAP or BMI .

I have it on a Drifters CD. Has an organ lead. Mel Torme may have done it, but sonce we know how much Elvis loved The Drifters, it's safe to assume he was familiar with their recording.

Thanks. I guess it does not borrow enough to give credit.
