Another hits set?

Are you talking about "Hitstory," so called?

The boxset is much the same as the UK issue of the 18 # 1 single cd's.

Greg -

Releasing the singles one per week had some merit.

There was the mad scramble to get to the shop first thing on a Monday morning each week to try and get the new one and slowly filling the box.

And the excitement of getting Elvis in the chart every week.

But releasing the whole lot in a box in one go, doesn't have anything like the same effect.

Might as well buy one or two CD's with them all on !

Just my take.

I agree Colin. Although the way the singles were released was a huge pain in the backside at the time for many of us, looking back it was quite an exciting period. It's not too often these days that I have reason to tune in to Sunday's chart countdown, let alone for 18 weeks in a row :)

Oh, the actual singles in a box...!

Now that I can see as interesting for the artwork at least.

I thought it was another single disc comp.

Yes, I remember all you Brits going nuts over that for a time.

I can't say I blame you. I finally picked up a few of those
UK cd singles when I found them stateside at Tower records...
