a question on video repair , anyhelp appericated

i have a question on video repair , i was hoping someone might be able to help . i recentley bought some dvd's from a elvis dealer which ended up being dvd-r that has some of what looks like blocks that are falling apart or pixels and some bad frames . is their any way i can fix this or is their any software i can download to fix this . i appericate any help . thanks

That sounds like it has occurred at the editing stage and probably has nothing to do with them being DVDr as such. I doubt there is anything you can do to change it, but someone more clued up on these things might be able to help.
