Michiel's Statue.

Some people have a lot on their plate.

It is a special pleasure for me to inform you that an image of the beautiful "Elvis at 13" statue is on a ceramic plate which sculptor Michiel Van der Sommen presented to me when he arrived at our home here in Swords, Ireland.

Michiel is a remarkable man, and in long conversations over dinner and drinks at a nearby hotel, we heard the inside story of how he was first approached by the Tupelo people to create the now famous statue of Elvis as a boy.

Michiel will be giving a lecture and slide show at the, Dublin Central Library, this evening-6.30-8pm.

The Library event in Dubln was a great success. I got the role of introducing Michiel to the audience.

Michiel met a lot of sculptors and has new contacts, plus an idea for a NEW Elvis statue from Maureen, which he liked a lot!

what has happened does the German not float your boat now after all you did say many times on the german board that this Elvis board is the pits. tell me have you been to see the doctors yet about the your Statue Fettish but you must kiss alot of *** to get your garden filled with Statues
as rocky once said about his statue just another place for the pigeons to sit and crap on d something more constuctive with your time hell John lennon has an airport named after him
