Studio Banter Wishlist

Mon Sep 26, 2005 5:58 pm

I got this idea from another post... Is there any studio dialogue from Elvis that you may have read in Ernst's A Life In Music that you'd like to hear on a FTD disc or whatever?

Here's my top three wishlist;

"I've run this damn song fifty times, and you still don't know your parts..." (My Way 1971)

"I want to find the writer and crush his fingers, break his pens!" (Find Out What's Happening 1973

Country Bumpkin dialogue (1975)

The last one would have been great on the Today FTD :lol:

Mark -

Well, yeah, but just because Ernst mentions it, doesn't mean it was recorded necessarily.

Some banter has simply been remembered by those present.

I'd like to hear how they worked through all those Hound Dog takes, along with the takes themselves !

I'd like to have the Going Home banter from takes 1-17 in good sound. Most amusing!!
