IMPORT NEWS
This DVD (real DVD not DVDR) contains unreleased outtakes from Elvis On Tour. This stuff will blow you away! Great quality!! With studio takes of "Burning Love",Big Hunk O Love","Proud Mary", clowning around in the studio. In the dressing room in San Antonio throwing a glass of water on Marty. In other dressing room scenes he's trying on an oversized tie, discussing different aspects of the show and even recieving 2 gold record awards. Meeting a cancer stricken child on board the bus and so much more! The DVD offered here is from the original source and is without any numbers, counters, etc.

And before anyone says anything else it's Lamar not Marty !

Wonder if he ever got that hairdryer?

Doesn't make mention of two DVD's either...

Wed Aug 31, 2005 12:24 am

I don't believe it.

I do not think it is from original source.

I would like to see a screen capture from that DVD.

Hi

Probably just cropped.

Wed Aug 31, 2005 12:42 am

That would be my guess as the 16mm format was almost square, so to crop it makes it fit more naturally onto a 4:3 ratio.

so, what seems to be the better source for this kind of stuff.
With numbers and time code or without. Read so much about this now and some people say the with numbers is better others say without?!

Yes! A real DVD!

Loks like the importers are now going to beat Tunrer/Warner to the punch by releasing this material. This also happened with the Elvis session tapes - it grew so big that FTD was established. I hope that a similar result occurs as a result of the leaking of the material.

I know I desparately want to see it. :D

It means a pressed DVD or 'silver', as opposed to a DVD-R.

I know, that's why I'm celebrating! I refuse to buy cheap CD-R's and DVD-R's. But "On Tour" material on a real DVD with professional artwork? Yes please!! Now where's my wallet?! :D

I don't like the fact that they came to this board and used the picture from my avatar for their disc. They will have hell to pay now.

I'm going to see that this project gets canned immediately if not sooner.

The nerve of them!

Thu Sep 01, 2005 12:16 pm

Please PM me where to get this. Thanks.

These guys know no shame!
And it would not surprise me one bit if they paid it out of Keith Richards, Jr's wallet. 8)

I guess we'll have to keep our ear to the ground as to where and when we will be able to get this DVD.

I'm listening :-)

Sources For EOT and TTWII

Thu Sep 01, 2005 3:57 pm

Hi

Can anyone pm me with a good source for the EOT and TTWII outtake DVDs, I am hyperventilating here at the prospect of finally seeing some of this footage. I see there is EOT copies on ebay, for a decent enough prices but the only TTWII set is selling for the extortionate price of $200 but my desire to see this stuff will force me to pay silly prices unless someone can point me elsewhere.
