Actually Scotty's playing at the Jazz Cafe was probably the best its been since his operation. Its taken a bit of work to get his skills back, which the pain in his hands is partly to blame but his playing has vastly improved since his last trip over.
He had a blast there and the fans in Europe are always superb. The Grundy/Pritchard band in addition to being great friends are all great musicians and they play well together. They are primarily the guys he has performed there with since his first trip in the early '90s. You can read more about them in the scrapbook section of his site but here's one to get you started http://scottymoore.net/UKQEHall.html
Actually one of the main motivations for going over was to attend Pete Pritchard's 50th birthday party (see http://www.pbase.com/jroy/pritchardparty
We hope to have some pages with pictures and stories up on the site eventually from the tour. I was at the London gig but oddly was not allowed to take pictures during the show. Naturally though as soon as it started there were flashes all over the place. Here are a few from backstage though before the show http://www.pbase.com/jroy/jazzcafe
Anyway, thanks for the plugs to his site.
