I bought the book when it was released in the ´90s. It´s been a while since the last time I went through it but I seem to rememeber that it has some nice pictures in it from these MSG shows. I felt, at least at the time it was released that this book was definately worth buying. A bit expensive though...

The book has 32 full page color photos from MSG shows: 22 photos from the June 10 afternoon show, and 10 photos from the June 10 evening show. However, the quality of those photos is not too good. They are a bit dark, and Elvis´s face is really red on all of them. Also, they are not very sharp photos.

But it´s your call. It is an expensive book. To me, the best part of the book is the black and white photos from the November 1971 and April 1972 tours. I would pay the price for them alone. Actually, I did. :)

Went through it again yesterday and I must agree with what our Finnish friend says about this book. The pictures from MSG are okay, but the best thing about the book is the many great up close b/w pictures from various 1971 and 1972 concerts. Some of them are truly amazing! Some of them are wrongly dated but that´s no big deal as long as the mistakes are fairly obvious, and they can only be regarded as misprints.

Well after doing some research, I found a link
that shows how much [or at least how expensive]
this book is:

http://members.allstream.net/~sumner/lichter2.html

What's even more odd about this, is that at the
bottom of this link where you click onto Paul
Lichter's website, you'd figure he'd have this
book on his site. Well unless I didn't look
carefully enough, I couldn't find this book
ANYWHERE on his site. So I'm assuming this book
is now out of print?

I have been looking for this book for years as Philly Nov. 71 was my first concert. Any help would be huge. Thanks in advance.

I was looking for that book for a long time, too - and love it.

I's a collection of press-photos, and they look pretty good - for an Elvis pictural.

Try to get it at elvisshop.uk ...... I got mine there ..... the last shop around ....

Well I went onto that link that you mentioned:

http://www.elvisshop.uk

Didn't work, so I figured let me try this way:

http://www.elvisshop.co.uk

Still didn't work. So I did a search & found this link:

http://www.elvisshop.demon.co.uk

Believe it or not, THAT link didn't work. So can you please post the URL to this Elvis Shop in the UK please? Thanks & have a great day.

For the 70s picture books, Paul Lichter's the BEST.
For those 50s book it's Ger Rijff.
