Quite a few more mistakes in Uncut Legends. Geez if you are doing a book on Elvis, check your facts before you issue it.

A part from some things wrong and yes they are a pain...i thought it was well put together.

Just a view.

Yes, aside from a few mistakes, a very enjoyable magazine.

As a bunch of us commented on "the lost threads".... :D

Ironically, Elvis was truly an uncut legend -- according to those who knew him well.

drjohncarpenter,

my friend, are you ill?

your contributions to this messageboard, as of late,
are either:

penis comments (Elvis and Milton Berle)
got cock on the brain? :P

and some brash negative pessimistic comments placing you in uncharacteristic error:

Pink Floyd will not reunite.....Elvis never wrote ZZtop...

tsk tsk

I still say the Doc's a cut above the rest.

Got my copy yesterday. Great magazine. Nice rare photos.

Hi!

A couple other pics that were dated wrongly in the mag are as follows:

page 20: pic from Sept 26, 1956, NOT 1957
page 29; pic from around Jan 1, 1955, NOT july 1954
page 39, Dec 1, 1955, NOT 1956
page 124, July 1975, NOT 1977

Otherwise pretty good mag.

Sincerely
Brian Petersen

Message to tree stump: you misquote the former and are in error on the latter.

Neither does Doc the way he goes on about it all the time.

He's our very own cobweb cock.

Cock-a-doodle doo (or don't in Doc's case)

I got the Uncut magazine this week, and I enjoy it overall. But there are a number mistakes here & there tha tend to annoy. Don't these folks do their homework?

And the 'fat savage bastard' comment by this Richard Hawley character doesn't sit well with me at all. You Brits need to set him straight!

And can somebody please tell me how That's The Way It Is (original version) got listed as Elvis' best 70's studio album? That distinction belongs to Elvis Country.

Where do you find this magazine?

Jeff, in the USA, you can find it (or could a few weeks ago) in your bigger newstands, the ones that carry foreign and obscure publications.

I believe Barnes & Noble, and Borders both carry (or did) this issue. These links may help, too.

I just hooked up a US fan with this magazine. I spied two copies left in the newstand. Any U.S. fan ( or otherwise) having a hard time locating this magazine, drop me a PM and we'll work out swap.
