I Can't Stop Loving You

Does anybody know when was the last time Elvis performed this song - prior to his last concert? I'm thinking it was May or June 74. Or did he perform it at any 75-76 shows?

Interesting question. What I've noticed is that when he did the song in Indianapolis on June 26th, 1977, it sounds much more like the Ray Charles version than his own.

I think it's more due to the fact that he couldn't remember
how he used to perform the song, than anything.
Also, he was slightly medicated.

Medicated or not he sang his butt off at the Indy concert! A vast improvement over Omaha, and also a bit better than Rapid City!

The arrangement of "I Can't Stop Loving You" from 26 June 1977 is due as much to fatigue as it is lack of recent performances or amount of medication. Elvis put out a bit more that night for a number of reasons.
