my little trivia

when where was replaced james burton ? ( on a show )

bonus question

who and why ?

Thu Jun 05, 2003 12:22 am

James Burton was never "replaced."

However, Burton nearly quit the TCB Band in February 1976, along with Glen D. Hardin and Ronnie Tutt, to join Emmylou Harris' "Hot Band." Bill Sanford was drafted to take James' place -- until Elvis insisted Burton be paid whatever it took to keep him in the TCB band.

Sanford played on the final date of Elvis' Graceland session that month as well, filling in for Burton. Tutt rejoined the TCB Band later that year.

Hope this restores your faith, michel.

bad mood today ?

no sense of humor ? caught in the act ?

Your intentionally vague query -- not to mention your additional replies about how "hard" the question was to solve -- was a deliberate waste of everyone's time. You probably don't even know who Bill Sanford is.

differences beetween you and me

1) you seems to have no sense of humor

2 ) I don't know bill sanford but Iam enough honest to admit it

3 )admitting that you lost the trivia is not obviously your way of thinking and no doubt you completly failed to answer it

4 ) modesty is not your middle name

5 ) it was a kind of joke trivia but very relevant and true story

6 ) have a nice day anyway
