Elvis and the dog Tex

On the old messageboard (I think at least) a dog Elvis was supposed to have owned as a child was disscused. His name was Tex and someone said that he stood in the shadow in a photo f the young Elvis.

I just found a greater scan of the same pic, and can sadly report that there is no dog there. Instead it seems to be a a barrow.
