Hi Keith,

Could you possibly send me a MP3 of Poor Man's Gold by Jamie.
I have many songs by Jimmy Ellis , Doug Church, Ronnie McDowell and Ral Donner, probably over 400 songs and not many of them are versions of Elvis songs. I would be willing to trade with you just to hear the version of Poor Man's Gold in its entirety.

What do you say ?

Regards

e.

Step aside Jamie Aaron kelly, Doug Church, Ronnie McDowell or whoever..whichever wannabe or tribute impersonators etc The BEST Elvis soundalike is from Sweden? ELLIET PILARM. Give him a lsiten, the guy is unbelievable. Elvis himself would have had a kick out of listening to him, I tell ya!

Actually, it's Eliert Pilarm... or Eliart Pilarm, depending on what site you go to.

You're right... Elvis WOULD probably have gotten a kick out of him...

Although Ronnie McDowell has sung "as Elvis" for films and tv, his long career, which included 14 years in the country music charts, was completely based on his own voice and talent. His voice actually sounds nothing like Elvis on most songs, and the fact that he still has a recording contract is testiment to his individuality. Well worth buying are his CDs recorded and released last year (both released in the same week), "Country" and "WIth Bill Pinkey's Original Drifters".
