More on You'll Be Gone & movie FTD's

This is my first post, but I just had to comment on this. After finally hearing the new FTD Girl Happy version of You'll Be Gone, I can't believe that there would be any conversation on this board at all about whether that is an alternate take. Of course it is. Did somebody really think it is an alternate mix or no different at all?

Also, did Elvis ever sound better than he did on World's Fair? Effortless, wonderful singing.

Thirdly, listen to the studio chatter on these two CD's. On World's Fair he's with it, focussed and vey articulate. On Girl Happy, he's slurry and less awake. After a false start on Puppet on a String, I thought the Elvis of 1974 was cussing instead of 64.

These are great issues and I'm very happy to have them.
