Did you read Todd Slaughter books?
The are somethings that Todd told in his books but how reliable are his facts?
He was very close with The Col.
Book: The colonel Parker and Elvis and more.
Stories like:
The Col ask him finding out to let him perform in the UK.
The was no problem with a passport because he was US citizen.
Could easily get a passport.
The Col told him (1975)to go to vernon to talk about touring the UK.
And so onβ¦
I already i apologize to Dr John Carpenter because of my stupid questions. But because this is still a forum I give it a try

Re: Did you read Todd Slaughter books?
Parker was not a US Citizen.
To be eligible to get a passport you must be either: A U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization or. A qualifying U.S. non-citizen national.
If Parker was any of these it was obtained with false paperwork. Without a birth certificate Parker couldnβt get a passport.
Any documents wouldnβt hold up to scrutiny as they were fake- his real name wasnβt Tom Parker.

He's a grown man, for heaven's sake.
He can read them himself!

What an odd and rude comment. It tells us a lot about you.
We discussed Slaughter's book on the Colonel in detail two years ago. It is dubious, to say the least.
Read all about it here:

Can we knock it off with the piss-poor quoting?
