Uncut, you mean including the bathtub scene from behind of Ina Balin?
I had always assumed the few seconds of her getting out of the bathtub was from a European print as the film in N.America doesn’t include those frames.
Was there more that you saw than that? The original script contained more violence and bare breast’s in the saloon at the beginning. But all thus was cut in pre-production.

Yes. that was the version, although it was a stand in.
I had always assumed the few seconds of her getting out of the bathtub was from a European print as the film in N.America doesn’t include those frames.
It was shown on BBC once with this scene. I've never found it for sale.

Wasn't this when Change Of Habit was being shown at the same time on another channel ? I remember it well, my eldest Sister kept switching channels from one film to the other !

Re: BBC Elvis movies
ITV is more complicated because of regional variations being so different up until about twenty years ago. However, the TVRDb lists 4.5m programmes from the 20th century, and there's no listing for Elvis's Easy Come Easy Go on there. BUT that database isn't complete. That said, the Paramount movies were normally shown on the BBC.ForeverElvis wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:36 pmThat leaves Easy Come Easy Go.Steve wrote:Harem Holiday has been screened in the UK, on ITV. That said, it has been shown on TV on Sky in more recent years, and I first saw it on there about 25-30 years ago. I don't know the exact date, but I was still living at home (so pre-1996). We didn't have Sky back then, so my sister taped it for me (along with Frankie & Johnny).
Accused of being "a nerd in his 20s." I wish.

According to the bbc database the two films were not broadcast at the same time. Would one have been on ITV?Dan_T wrote:Wasn't this when Change Of Habit was being shown at the same time on another channel ? I remember it well, my eldest Sister kept switching channels from one film to the other !
Change of Habit debuted on bbc in 1971 and was broadcast in 1975 and 1978. Charro didn’t debut until 1979.

I did the list up to the end of the 70's for BBC anbd ITV where I could find them. ITV was regional, so some regions showed things that other regions didn't.ForeverElvis wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:18 amUsing the BBC program search;

Re: BBC Elvis movies
Don't think there is an online search engine for ITV. I did my own research which was published in an article titled 'Elvis On British Television' in 'Elvis Monthly' 356, September 1989. All Elvis films and documentaries from 1966 to 1989. The magazine's printing format is all over the place, quite untidy. As I write, 'Charro' is showing on Legend channel, Freeview 41, 29 April, 1pm - 3pm.ForeverElvis wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:36 pmThat leaves Easy Come Easy Go.Steve wrote:Harem Holiday has been screened in the UK, on ITV. Re: BBC Elvis movies
Easy come, easy go has been shown at least once in the UK on channel 5. This was about 12 years ago. I tried to watch it again about 5 years ago (it's not very good) but this could have been Amazon prime? It was definitely on channel 5 about 12 years ago.

Re: BBC Elvis movies
This info was taken from the BBC genome site in 2018 when I used it for BBC info to compile the list I made.
ITV regions were taken from going through various TV Times where available.
Whilst it was broadcast subsequently on 27th Dec 1977, the current genome site now says this airing of Blue Hawaii was a premiere :-

Re: BBC Elvis movies
Too many errors on the genome site.
I'll post one more image as its the worst one in my opinion.
From the BBC who bought us the first Elvis movie on UK TV in May 1966, Love Me Tender, they now tell us that it was Aug 1971:-
Edit: Ha! I said it was the worst - I've changed my mind.
Four differing dates for Elvis On Tour - two of them listed next to each other.

Where it says in bold “first broadcast” it’s misleading, that doesn’t mean the first broadcast ever.Alan_K wrote:Too many errors on the genome site.

When it’s a premier it tends to be written at the bottom of the synopsis.
