Re: Your top ten 70s studio songs
Although a hardcore Elvis fan for more than 60 years, I'm less interested when discussing his 70's work. This doesn't mean I haven't some favorite songs I truly appreciate.
Bridge over troubled water (but only the masterful version from ETTWII movie or the other live versions from the same aug 1970 period)
Mary in the morning
For loving me
Merry christmas baby
I'm leavin'
Reach out to Jesus
Goodtime Charlie's got the blues
Promised land
T.R.O.U.B.L.E
For the heart
He'll have to go
I really don't want to know (1977 live short version)

Re: Your top ten 70s studio songs
I see this thread was originally "Your top five..." and now it's "Your top ten...", but that's still difficult.
Studio, non-live:
Mary In The Morning
Just Pretend
Funny How Time Slips Away
Merry Christmas Baby
Burning Love
For Ol' Times Sake
Moody Blue
Hurt
Danny Boy
Way Down
