I know it doesn't answer your question, but he did say that 'Santa Claus Is Back In Town' was his favourite Christmas song "out of all the ones that I have recorded".
Even then, RCA edited the 'Elvis' album to make it seem as if he was referring to 'Blue Christmas' !
Of his regular songs, he did say once that "Don't Be Cruel" was his favourite at one [early] point in his career.

He said in a interview he liked You'll Never Walk Alone and Padre, though he wasn't referring to his versions

I remember in a French interview in his army years Elvis said he liked "a song called 'Don't". Anyone remember it - the French lady has difficulty expressing herself but Elvis is very patient with her. In that same interview he says he would like to tour Europe after the army.
