I have some exciting news for deep and crazy fans!

There are 2 diffrent reel-to-reel tapes out there from the same date in 1955 .
One is the the duet and interview tape described in the OP, but..
Another, different tape has just been recently unearthed and has an unreleased Elvis' recording on it.
And it has been acquirred and is in safe hands.

Have you personally heard the tapes?

This "new" tape is legit (I heard a snippet) and comes from a person who recorded it.
The one in the OP is sadly unreachable at this point.

Given that some of your posts have been inaccurate in regards to dating and identification, the idea you can determine something is "legit" from a "snippet" is dubious at best.

Personally I am grateful for Greg1995's persistance in getting more information on this subject. If any audio of any kind gets unearthed he should be congratulated and not questioned why he chooses not to release sources at this point. I look on this as a follow up to Ernst's fantastic 2012 release. How long did we have to wait for that to be released because Ernst kept saying that every time he thought he had closed one door other doors opened to reveal more facts, photo's etc or something to that effect. Hopefully the facts and media that Greg1995 is unearthing will make this a worthwhile wait also, so thank you for your efforts and keeping us informed of certain things that you come across during your research.
