Elvis's Lady Madonna

Anyone know what happened to the first half of the kings version of "Lady Madonna" ??......on the 70's masters version it fades in from the bridge .....so we know he must have sung at least one chorus before the fade in

I Think It Was Just An Informal Recording.
Kinda Like i Can't Stop Loving You From The 60s Master Box Set.
I Don't Think There's A Full Version of This Song.

We know it was an informal recording Curtis.....but it was faded in from the bridge......
I'm asking what happened to the bit that's missing....ie- the chorus, and the beginning of the bridge section that we hear at the fade in??

Hi Squirrel mate
This is an interesting question which I guess throws up a few possibilities .....in addition to Curtis' suggestion, possibly part of the tape was damaged, recorded over (as with America from the 1976 sessions) or maybe there was a fade in because of x rated language
They of course faded out Stranger In My Own Hometown on the same box set for exactly that reason - you can hear the full unedited version on The Brightest Star On Sunset Boulevard import.
It would be interesting if someone had the definitive answer.
