Still editing! One more day to go! The Offenbach opera comes in the form of a 200+ page hardback book with cds inside front and back cover (hence the shape). Thankfully, I edited the dialogue out before listening!

This is Denny Laine circa 1967, after the Moody Blues era.

Here's another Sun Legends five-pack. This is where they were in 1976.

Even in italy the Beatles new song is having an impact. Check out this basker.

But this needs a bit more practice, Frederico...

Much better offering here:

What other mono-tracks do you reckon would be cool to hear in various isolation mixes? Im thinking most of the King Creole soundtrack given that it would be cool to hear the Jazz-rock instruments each in isolation and particularly Elvis isolated vocals for Hard Headed Woman, Trouble and Dixieland Rock songs.

I heard for the first time today this wonderful Christmas album hidden away in the recent 88CD set of conductor Eugene Ormandy's album. It's called the Glorious Sound of Christmas, and it really does live up to that name, with the Philadelphia Orchestra combining forces with the Temple University Choir. They certainly don't make 'em like this anymore, and with that unmistakeable late 1950s use of stereo helping things along nicely.

Good homemade mix by John Drake. Certainly a marked improvement from the 2023 pedestrian, rubbish by Giles Martin...
